Hamish’s Hogs will be serving up our 8 hour spit roasted hogs, cooked in our custom built spit roasting machines.
Once ready our hogs are displayed and then carved to order, served in a brioche bun along with salad and a selection of sauces.
We take pride in using only locally reared, high welfare pigs and we work closely with our farmer to ensure our pigs are the highest quality and hand picked just for us.

The Bay on the Road will be back with award-winning fish and chips, with everything sourced locally and sustainably. All their fish are caught in the North Sea from stocks which are fully sustainable according to the Marine Conservation Society. The Bay uses two main varieties of potatoes – Maris Piper and Markies, both sourced from the finest local seed.
E. Giulianotti of Stonehaven, makers of fine gelato (Saturday Only) is a long-established family business here in Stonehaven (since 1899). They make award-winning artisan ice creams, frozen yoghurts and sorbets from their vintage Sweetie Shop at Evan Street in the town centre. They are delighted and proud to have been asked to attend this year’s Midsummer Beer Happening on Saturday, and will be offering a selection of delicious handmade Ices for you to try. There will be a good choice of flavours to suit all ages – and especially for the over 18’s, the famous Gin and Tonic Sorbet!
Keep up to date with all that's happening with the Happening - make sure you don't miss out!
The Beer Happening doesn't just happen, if you'll pardon the pun.
It couldn't go on without the hard work of the volunteers who put it together, man the pumps and look after you while you are here. Our thanks to them and to the sponsors and organisations who supported us.
They all make it possible for us to say to you, "Welcome to the Happening and cheers."
